Description: "Update Your AAC Toolbox: Assessment, Current Devices, iPad Apps, and More!" Presented by Kathleen Rausch, M.S., CCC-SLP & Randi Horikawa, M.A., CCC-SLP from ATEC and Laura Simmons-Martinez, Technology Project Director from TASK.
Whether you are new to the field of AAC or just need a refresher, please join us for the latest information on assessment, implementation strategies, and communication devices, including the ever popular iPad. You will have an opportunity to learn about current technology and how it applies to your clientele to promote optimal language development and independence. Vendors will be available for hands-on demonstration.
The Pre-Conference meets the qualifications for 5.0 hours of continuing professional development credit for Speech-Language Pathologists/Audiologists as required by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board. CSHA PDP #1
